How to Make Money on Fiverr as a SAHM (Without the Client-Chasing Burnout)
Hey mama!
In this blog post, I want to share how you can start making money online with Fiverr without constantly chasing clients. That’s right, on Fiverr, the clients come to you. Which is a game changer because, let’s be real, spending all your time pitching while also running a household full-time? It’s just not sustainable. And it can lead to major burnout.
I’m always here to share resources and tools that make life easier for Stay-at-Home Mamas with big dreams and even bigger goals—especially when it comes to creating income from home.
So today, I’ll also be sharing a course that I bought that has helped me learn how to set up my Fiverr account and optimize it so clients can actually find me.

What is Fiverr?
Fiverr is an online marketplace where freelancers offer digital services to clients. As a freelancer (aka “seller”), you create a profile and post services—called “gigs”—with set prices and turnaround times.
Clients search for what they need, browse your gig, and book you directly through the platform.
How Does Fiverr Work?
Clients scroll through gigs based on keywords they type in. If your service matches what they’re looking for, you show up in their search. From there, they can message you or book your service right away.
Fiverr handles the payments and messaging all within the platform, making it super easy and secure for both you and your clients. You can check out their site here.
How Can I Make Money on Fiverr as a Stay-at-Home Mama?
You can make money by listing a service you already know how to do—or are willing to learn. Think:
- Content creation
- Virtual assistant services
- Voiceovers
- Graphic design
- Video editing
If there’s a category for it on Fiverr, you can offer it!
How Do Clients Find Me?
Once you create your profile and post your listing (gig), Fiverr uses SEO (search engine optimization) to help match you with buyers.
When someone searches for the service you offer and your listing includes the right keywords, your gig can show up in their search results. That means you don’t have to go find clients—they find you.
Why I Love Fiverr as a SAHM
Honestly, I wish I had known about Fiverr when I was just starting out. It would’ve saved me so much time and energy. Here’s why it’s a great fit:
- All-in-one platform – No need for a separate messaging app or payment system
- Payments are secure – Clients pay upfront through Fiverr
- You don’t need a website – Your listing is your website
- Multiple listings – As you grow, you can add more services
- Clients come to YOU – I’ve received messages while I was sleeping, making dinner, or just hanging out with my kids
It gives me the freedom to be present with my family while still bringing in income.
How I Personally Use Fiverr
Right now, I offer content creation services—mostly for Amazon sellers who need videos for their products.
What Kind of Services Can You List on Fiverr?
The possibilities are wide open. Think about:
- Your skills
- Your hobbies
- Things you’ve helped others with
- Anything you’ve done that someone else might need help with
Businesses are already on Fiverr looking for support—so why not be there too?
How to Get Started with Fiverr
Honestly? It starts with just signing up. It’s totally free to create an account and list your first gig.
But if you want someone to walk you through every step, I highly recommend Arbel’s Fiverr Course. I’m an affiliate for it because it’s that good, and it helped me so much.
🎓 What’s Inside the Course:
- How to set up your Fiverr profile
- How to create a high-converting gig
- What photos and videos you should include
- How to respond to potential buyers
- Templates and scripts to make things easier
The course is focused mostly on UGC (User-Generated Content)—which means you can create content for brands even if you don’t have a huge following. It’s skill-based, not influencer-based.
