Create a recipe bank to store your family’s dinner ideas
Hey mama!
One thing I wish I knew before I had a family was how to handle the never-ending “What’s for dinner?” question.
Honestly, half the time I don’t even know myself, so stop asking me that lol
Right now, my kids are still little, but I already know this will be the number one question in our house as they grow. And this time, I’m going to be ready.
At some point, I just said, you know what? Forget it. I’m making my own system.
And that’s exactly what I did. Now I want to share it with you. But first, let me walk you through how to create your own.

How to create your own recipe bank
Step 1: Find a place to record your dinner ideas and family recipes
This could be a notebook, a planner, or my Meal Planning Template Inside of my Home Management System. Whatever you choose, make it your go-to spot to keep track of favorite meals and new recipe finds.
In the Meal Plan Template I made for myself, I write down the ingredients and the directions so I don’t have to keep it all in my head anymore lol.

Step 2: Start writing down the recipes and meals you constantly make
Brainstorm the meals you make all the time and put it in the place of your choosing. If you don’t have a place.

Step 3: Start Planning out your meals for the week, month, etc and add more recipes as you go along.
Now it’s time to put it in practice, in my Meal Plan Template, you can put the meals on the calendar, assign a date, or just have them listed out of the meals you are cooking next

And that’s it.
You’ve officially created a recipe bank for your family. No more stressing over what’s for dinner.
When it’s time to grocery shop, you’ll already have a list of everything you need. It’s giving, always being one step ahead.

Most of the recipes I save come from moms I follow on Instagram, Pinterest, and Facebook.

I also wrote a blog about meal planning if you want to dive deeper. In it, I share more about my favorite tools too.
